Biodiversity | Protecting the Island
Kangaroo Island has unique flora and fauna that we need to protect, so it’s important NOT to bring the following to Kangaroo Island: Bees, bee handling equipment, and honey products, rabbits, declared weeds, unwashed or dirty potatoes. Penalties apply.
Pets | Dogs & Cats
It’s important to note that all pets are not permitted into National or Conservation Parks on Kangaroo Island due to the wildlife in the area. This also includes leaving your pet in the vehicle. Cats taken to Kangaroo Island must be de-sexed and micro-chipped as required by Kangaroo Island Council.
Night Driving | Safety
Between dusk and dawn please consider reducing your speed to less than 70km/h to protect our wildlife. If you do hit an animal and it’s still alive, please call for assistance on 0477334898.
Cancellation, refund policy, Kangaroo Island Itineraries
All charges and booking fees that are related to my itinerary planning service, Kangaroo Island Itineraries, are non-refundable. If a service or activity that is in your itinerary is cancelled by the respective provider, the refund of fees is the responsibility of that business.
Delivery of Your Customised Itinerary
The Customised Itinerary is delivered as a PDF document after payment and your final approval in writing, via email to the email address you provide.
Turnaround time is estimated at 1 week, determined by the duration, complexity and your arrival date of your trip.
Travel Insurance is highly recommended to organise prior to travel
Travel Insurance is not included in your customised itinerary, and is not able to be arranged by Kangaroo Island Itineraries. Please organise your own Travel Insurance. Ferry departures can be cancelled or delayed due to bad weather or high winds.

Refunds for Experiences, Travel & Accommodation
All bookings that are prepaid are at the discretion of the individual provider. You will need to contact the business and request a refund if you’ve booked these yourself.
Return Policy
No returns, refunds or credits or resale of your Customised Itinerary to 3rd parties.
Fees Policy
The standard $49 per day published price includes 1 rework to the Itinerary before finalisation, for multiple reworks additional fees may be charged, dependant on the number of reworks and complexity.
Avoid a trip spoiler by proactively planning & checking policies.
